Mr. Taylor’s practices civil litigation in all aspects of insurance defense litigation. Since 2012, his practice has focused on bad-faith litigation, civil rights, personal injury, products liability, construction defects, commercial trucking defense, property damage, catastrophic injury, coverage issues, malpractice defense, and subrogation. Mr. Taylor has considerable first-chair trial experience in front of juries, judges, and arbitrations. In addition, Mr. Taylor has an active appellate practice and has argued cases before both the Utah Court of Appeals and the Utah Supreme Court. Mr. Taylor has resolved hundreds of cases through mediation, arbitration, dispositive motions, and trial.
Mr. Taylor has been named as a rising star and a Top-Rated Personal Injury Attorney by Super Lawyers, a designation given to less than three percent of all attorneys that awards peer recognition and professional achievement. In addition, Utah Business Magazine lists Mr. Taylor as a Legal Elite.
During law school, Mr. Taylor interned with the honorable Judge Dee Benson in the United States District Court for the District of Utah. Following law school, he clerked with the honorable Judge Richard Wagner in the Sixth Judicial District Court in Nevada. Mr. Taylor went on to work as Deputy District Attorney for Humboldt County, Nevada. In 2012, he returned to Utah to build his current civil litigation practice. Mr. Taylor enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids, especially in the outdoors of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains.
